As we look ahead to our projects, plans, and goals in this new year, it’s worth taking a moment to assess—and appreciate—recent progress and achievements. Because no matter how innovative, new, and fresh a current project is, it builds on past work: The experience, knowledge, and marketing muscle we develop one year give us greater power for the year to come.
Here at Brandwidth, we are proud of our accomplishments from 2025. We produced excellent results, shared our expertise with the community, and started new ventures. Most importantly, we enabled our clients to drive their businesses.
Driving Public Relations Results
Public relations (PR) plays a critical role in the early stages of the buyer’s journey. Press releases create awareness about what your company does, the milestones you’ve reached, and how your capabilities, offerings, and systems are evolving.
Our PR team drives results through expert crafting of press releases and targeted, personalized media pitching, where our relationships and reputation with editors make all the difference. In 2025, our clients saw original coverage of their press releases by key trade publications, in addition to dozens of press release pickups by other news outlets, achieving a significant market impact.
Our PR team also ensures continued awareness of our clients’ expertise by helping develop authoritative thought-leadership pieces in article and video format for leading industry publications and securing opportunities for our clients to be quoted in editorial articles. In 2025, we delivered more than 40 thought leadership opportunities for our clients.
Delivering Leads
Awareness campaigns, of course, must be balanced with lead generation. Our media team thrives on planning, developing, and executing advertising plans that make the most of our clients’ ad spend through an optimized mix of promotion types in the right media outlets and at the right events. These finely tuned placements bring in tens to hundreds to thousands of fresh contacts that can be nurtured from marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) to sales-qualified leads (SQLs). In just one example from 2025, a longtime Brandwidth client experienced a +212% year-on-year growth in leads as a result of our strategic ad management.
Sharing Insights Through Our Blog
Another important role our agency plays is providing ongoing guidance about marketing strategies and tactics, including how and when those need to be updated to adapt to external changes in the market—like the proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI). We regularly share insights and ideas with everyone through our Brandwidth Blog.

Launching a Podcast!
Creating a new initiative is always exciting and fun—and this fall our team had a chance to feel the emotion of launching our new podcast, BWS Dialogues™! Through this new vehicle, we explore marketing topics as well as the scientific, regulatory, and business challenges our clients face—and the opportunities for growth. Our first episodes have addressed a range of topics in life science marketing and pharmaceutical manufacturing, including:
- AI in pharma manufacturing
- The evolution of B2B life science marketing
- Best practices for optimizing user experience
- The bioprocessing staffing challenge
- API stockpiling and the US pharma supply
We’ve got a lot more ideas in store for 2026 and can’t wait to drop new episodes monthly!
Engaging Directly with the Community
Our team also knows the value of participating actively in the scientific marketing communities we serve—not just attending conferences and tradeshows but also leading conversations from the podium.
At CPHI Frankfurt, Debra Harrsch, President and CEO of Brandwidth Solutions, moderated a discussion with entrepreneurs Roland Haag, Salvatore Mascia, and Terry Katz about the challenges and rewards along the road to starting your own business—a topic Deb knows well from her own experience launching Brandwidth Solutions two decades ago. You can watch the recording of the session on the CPHI site: Navigating Growth: Lessons from the Startup Journey.
Our Chief Science Officer, Peter Harrsch, PhD, was also invited to lead a panel discussion at CPHI Frankfurt. His conversation with Arjen Akkerman, Georgia Sloboda, Nurcan Coskun, and Jessica Cordes, entitled From Collaboration to Commitment: Strengthening CRO–End User Relationships, explored what it takes for sponsors and clinical research organizations to move beyond transactional engagements into a more strategic approach.
Our leaders also believe in the importance of supporting the scientific community at the local level. One of the ways we do that is by sharing expertise through the Founders Fellowship Program at the Science Center, which fosters life science startups in the Philadelphia region and beyond. Deb’s talk there on storytelling in marketing was a hit, and it sparked some new thinking for the entrepreneurs in attendance.
Since our founding in 2005, we also have had the opportunity to give back to our community every year in the form of charitable donations that support children, education, health, people facing food insecurity, and animals. We thank our clients and team members for this opportunity.
Growing Our Team
As business expands, markets change, and new opportunities arise, Brandwidth adds new staff who are ready to meet the moment.
This past year, we brought on two new team members. To address the growing need to support clients in marketing strategy and harnessing AI, we brought in Emilee Cocuzzo as our new director of Business Strategy and Operations. Emilee brings with her a wealth of experience in strategic consulting as well as AI and digital transformation, and our clients are already feeling the benefits of her knowledge and expertise.
On the content marketing side, Laura Bush stepped in to fill the big shoes of Kathleen Beaulieu, who retired in June. With 20 years of experience as a B2B life sciences editor, Laura brings a keen eye and extensive industry knowledge to every client project.
Celebrating 20 Years, and Excited to Start Our Third Decade
In addition to all our accomplishments, 2025 was a big year for Brandwidth for another reason: It was the 20th anniversary of our company. As we start our third decade, we are excited about all the opportunities, and we look forward to doing what we do best: applying our expertise and experience to serving our clients’ needs.
